Cecil Collins opened the doors to Georgia State Wholesale Florist on June 1, 1954 with the hopes of providing the Central Savannah River Area with premium cut flowers and floral products. His sons, Len, Darrell and Pat, continue to uphold that same standard of quality product today. Though the process of obtaining, conditioning and shipping flowers has changed drastically in the past 55 years our intent has not. Always looking for the highest quality product and latest trends in floral design and dÃ©cor we keep all of our customers on the cutting edge.

Having grown from a 1200 sq. ft. building to the 54,000 sq ft. space we occupy now, Georgia State is capable of fulfilling all our customersâ€™ needs. Whether those are limited solely to fresh flowers or quality silk and dried floral products or various home dÃ©cor products, we have it all. Our 21 employees ensure that all of our customers get the highest grade of care and product to assist in their success as floral designers. Our in house designers are constantly traveling in an attempt to find the latest styles and merchandise which allows Georgia State to stay on the cusp of trends throughout the country.
