Brenda Dickey/Owner/Queen 29 years old
Brenda began working in a flower shop at the age of 14. She soon tired of sweeping floors and de-thorning roses… she wanted more. After training as a floral apprentice for a year she tested to become a senior floral designer through FTD at 16. She designed while in college and even won a few competitions. Brenda had the opportunity to study under floral guru Phil Ruloda before moving to Aspen Colorado and managing the coolest little flower and gift shop. There she designed for prestigious clients such as Cher, Michael Eisner, Glen Fry and Food and Wine magazine. After moving to Cumming, Georgia 9 years ago she continued her love of flowers in a studio at her home designing for weddings and special events until this past January when she decided that Cumming, Georgia was in fact ready for a different kind of flower shop. Her kind of flower shop! And it's been a blooming success!

Angie Sisk/director of first impressions/office manager 29 years old
I found Angie working at Horizon Christian Academy and she said I should open a flower shop. 5 days later I told her I did open a shop and I need her to help me. With a heart the size of Texas and a work ethic that won't stop, I knew right away that she was irreplaceable!
Plus, the girl knows EVERYONE. Angie believes in me and this shop even when I don't.

Rebecca Gomes/hogger of expensive orders/design manager 29 years old
Miss Rebecca found us. She walked into Funky Mountain and said she is home! Having moved here from California she brought her own kind of "funky" to the store and has fit into the shop like a puzzle piece.

Gus/kind hearted greeter/golden retriever 11 years old
Gus began his life in the Colorado flower shop where I found him. He has supported me through many valentines and mother's days as well as stressful weddings. He has been known to drink to much water from the buckets containing floral preservative and has chewed his share of flower stems. All and all this is his retirement so if he wants to lie right in front of my register making it a bit difficult, then so be it.
